Dotly is designed with privacy as a priority:
- Captured Notes: Text you capture is stored locally on your device until synced to your Workflowy account.
- Workflowy Credentials: Your Workflowy authentication is handled securely through OAuth. We do not store your Workflowy password.
- Preferences: Your app settings are stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud.
- No Account Required: Dotly does not require you to create a separate account with us.
Third-Party Services
Dotly connects to Workflowy to sync your captured notes:
- Your notes are sent directly to Workflowy's servers when you sync.
- We do not store your notes on our servers.
- Your Workflowy usage is subject to Workflowy's own privacy policy.
Data Storage
- Notes are stored locally on your device until synced.
- Synced notes live in your Workflowy account.
- App preferences sync via iCloud to your other devices.
- If you delete the app, local unsent notes will be lost.
Analytics
Dotly does not collect any analytics or usage data. We do not track how you use the app.
Children's Privacy
Dotly is suitable for users of all ages (4+). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
